Non-stop service from Stockholm Arlanda to Beirut with Germania Airline

2016-06-06, kl. 10:00

Beginning on June 6, Sweden’s National Day, the Berlin-based carrier Germania Airline will launch service between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport. Twice a week, passengers will be able to fly non-stop to the fashionable capital of the eastern Mediterranean region.

“We are pleased that Germania Airline is launching this direct route, which will be the second route to Beirut added in one week. It is obvious we have strong demand for flights to Lebanon, which people previously were unable to fly non-stop to from Stockholm. It is also really good news that Air Germania is setting up another airline at Stockholm Arlanda, which increased international passenger volume by almost nine per cent during the first quarter,” says Elizabeth Axtelius, Aviation Director at Swedavia.

“We are really pleased with the strong demand for flights to Beirut from Stockholm and can now offer direct service between the two capitals. Our air service to Beirut is aimed at leisure and business travellers, as well as everyone visiting friends and family in Lebanon,” says Karsten Balke, CEO of Germania Airline.

There will be weekly departures on Mondays and Thursdays. Tickets can be booked at www.flygermania.com or a travel agency.
