New baggage belt system in Terminal 4

2016-06-27, kl. 13:02

The baggage belt system in Terminal 4 is now being rebuilt – all so that passengers will be able to get their baggage faster and more easily after their flight.

The new baggage belt system will enable 1,200 bags an hour to be transported, which is a 40 per cent increase compared to before. It will also be easier to retrieve bags since passengers will be able to stand all around the baggage carousel.

At the moment, all bags are handled manually and driven to the arrival hall on carts. There are additional terminal hosts on hand to provide help.

The new baggage belt system will be placed in service during the first week of August.
