Michael Kors to open at Stockholm Arlanda

2014-10-09, kl. 09:14

Fashion giant Michael Kors will open a shop at Stockholm Arlanda Airport on December 1, 2014. The new handbag and accessory shop is yet another step towards a more luxurious offering of international brands at the airport.

As passenger volume at Stockholm Arlanda continues to rise, there is growing demand for new shops and the airport continues its efforts to introduce new premium brands. One of the new arrivals, Michael Kors, will open a shop for luxury fashion in Terminal 5. This is the second Michael Kors shop to open in Sweden. Passengers will be offered an exciting selection of handbags, watches, jewellery and accessories from the full Michael Kors range.

Michael Kors is considered by many to be the master of attractive, wearable luxury fashion and is known for his glamourous, timeless apparel and accessories inspired by the typical New York woman.

“We know that many of our passengers would like to come earlier to the airport to shop, eat and take in the atmosphere. Opening the Michael Kors shop is in line with our ambition to offer our passengers strong brands and a pleasurable experience when they travel from Stockholm Arlanda,” says Kjell-Åke Westin, airport director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

Last year, more than 40 new shops and restaurants opened or were updated at Stockholm Arlanda. This included a revamp of Terminal 5 to meet the demand for additional strong international brands. New shops previously launched are Lexington and Victoria’s Secret as well as Haute Parfumerie.
