Beginning March 30, 2014, Luxair will serve the Stockholm Arlanda-Luxemburg route four times a week – Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight is two hours and 15 minutes, and the route is flown by an Embraer 145, with seating for 49 passengers.
“It feels really great to welcome Luxair back to the airport. Luxembourg is a very popular destination for Swedes, and up until now a large percentage of those travelling there have flown via Copenhagen, so a direct route from Stockholm Arlanda is desirable,” says Kjell-Åke Westin, airport director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Luxair was formed in 1961 and is Luxembourg’s national airline. Luxair flies to some 50 destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
