Iceland gets closer

2013-09-24, kl. 09:34

Next summer, passengers can choose from yet another airline for flights between Stockholm and Reykjavik. The Icelandic carrier WOW air will fly three times a week between Keflavik Airport and Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

In early June, WOW air will launch service between Stockholm and Reykjavik. The route will be flown three times a week and is an important addition especially for leisure travellers flying between the two countries.

“We are really delighted to be able to continue expanding service from the airport. A summer’s week in Iceland is also high on the wish list of many of our passengers,” says Kjell-Åke Westin, airport director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

WOW air was formed in 2012 and since its launch has acquired Iceland Express. It will fly the route using an A320. Icelandair previously served the route between Iceland and Sweden.
