Iberia Express launches new route to Madrid

Beginning April 2, the Spanish airline Iberia Express will fly between Stockholm Arlanda and Madrid twice a week.

Iberia Express is launching new non-stop service to Madrid beginning April 2, making it the second carrier, along with SAS, to fly to Madrid. The route will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. 

The flight from Madrid departs at 10.35 a.m. and lands at Stockholm Arlanda at 2.15 p.m. The departure time for the flight from Stockholm Arlanda back to Madrid is 2.50 p.m. Flying time is just under four hours, and the route will be flown by an Airbus A320.

Iberia Express is a subsidiary of Iberia and flies to destinations in Spain and other European countries from Madrid. The carrier is the third most on-time airline in Europe according to Flightstatus. Iberia Express is a member of the Oneworld alliance.
