Delta Air Lines returns to Stockholm Arlanda Airport

2013-06-03, kl. 15:09

Today Stockholm Arlanda is celebrating another new service to New York, this time with Delta Air Lines, which is resuming its summer flights from Stockholm Arlanda to New York, as well as Delta’s very own brand-new Terminal 4 at JFK.

“It is really great to welcome Delta Air Lines back to Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Another non-stop route to New York helps to meet the large demand for good connections to the US, and reinforce Stockholm Arlanda Airport as a hub for travel in Scandinavia,” says Kjell-Åke Westin, airport director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

The route will be served by a Boeing 757-200, with capacity for 170 passengers, six times a week in June, five times a week in July and four times a week in August.  The departure time is 2.20 p.m. from Stockholm Arlanda and the arrival time at JFK is 4.50 p.m., local time. The flight to Stockholm departs at 9.45 p.m. from New York and lands at Stockholm Arlanda at 12.20 p.m. the next day.

During the summer of 2012, Delta flew almost 35,000 passengers between Sweden and the US, with an average cabin factor of 92% for the route.
