Miami’s airport already has one. So does Toronto’s. Now Sweden has its first Bacardi bar, “Casa Bacardi,” located in Terminal 5 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Bacardi is offering passengers classic cocktails in a genuine rum bar that evokes 1950s Cuba.

On Friday, February 22, Bacardi opened the doors of its new rum bar at Stockholm Arlanda. The bar, called “Casa Bacardi”, is located after the security checkpoints in Terminal 5. Passengers with a taste for rum are welcome here, every day of the week.

Bacardi, which celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2012, has a strong portfolio of rum drinks. In the new bar at Stockholm Arlanda, Bacardi is focused on serving classics like the Mojito, Cuba Libre and Daiquiri. Together with these renowned cocktails, passengers will be able to enjoy light refreshments such as tapas, salads and sandwiches in a relaxed setting.

“For many people, their journey begins right at the airport, and we want to elevate the experience and create that tingly sensation for our passengers. Our visitors will now be able to enjoy an even broader array of services, and we welcome Bacardi’s rum bar to Stockholm Arlanda’s Terminal 5,” says Roel Huinink, who is in charge of developing shops, restaurants and other commercial services at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
