Air Berlin’s Christmas plane coming to Stockholm Arlanda for the first time

2013-11-22, kl. 09:55

Christmas is drawing near, and one sign of that is Air Berlin’s recurrent Christmas flights around Europe. For the third year in a row, the airline is flying its aircraft, specially decorated for Christmas, with the theme “Flying home for Christmas” and this year Stockholm Arlanda will get a visit as well.

The plane, a Boeing 737-800 painted in Christmas livery, will land at Stockholm Arlanda on Saturday, November 23, at 9.55 a.m. in Terminal 2. It will then leave the airport for Berlin at 10.35 a.m.

“It is really fun to get a visit from Air Berlin’s wonderful aircraft like this, before Christmas. The question is whether it is the children flying out from Stockholm Arlanda or our flight-spotters who will be most delighted,” says Kjell-Åke Westin, airport director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

Right now, there is also a contest under way involving Air Berlin’s Christmas aircraft. Go to their website for more information: www.airberlin.com/spotter.
