Aer Lingus returns to Stockholm Arlanda with departures to Dublin

2012-03-29, kl. 16:07

Aer Lingus, which operated at Stockholm Arlanda until 2001, has once again added Stockholm as a destination. The Irish carrier is offering attractive departure times from Stockholm Arlanda to Dublin on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The aircraft type is an Airbus A320 with seating capacity of 174.

“The number of Dublin passengers has increased for a number of years, and roughly one out of three makes a stopover en route to Dublin. With this newly launched direct route with Aer Lingus, passengers have a shorter travel time and more departures to choose from at good prices,” says Brett Weihart, director of aviation business at Swedavia.

Aer Lingus, which celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2011, is based in Dublin. Instead of joining an alliance, the airline collaborates with different partners such as United Airlines, KLM and British Airways.
