Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, usually charms visitors with its vibrant, friendly atmosphere. Climb up to Ljubljana Castle, stroll through the delightful old town or spend the day at one of the city’s many museums and art galleries.
“We welcome Adria Airways and their new route to Ljubljana from Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Although today business travel to and from Slovenia dominates traffic, we believe the new non-stop service has great potential to get more Swedes to discover Slovenia as a tourist destination,” says Kjell-Åke Westin, airport director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
“As part of our new strategy, Adria Airways is now setting up more routes between Slovenia and other European cities, including Stockholm. In close cooperation with Ljubljana Airport and the Slovenian Tourist Board, Adria Airways expects the new route to be a great success story,” says Mark Anžurm, president and CEO of Adria Airways.
The route will be served by a Bombardier CRJ 900 with capacity for 86 passengers. The flight departs from Stockholm Arlanda for Ljubljana on Tuesdays at 10.05 a.m. and on Thursdays at 9.20 p.m. Estimated flying time is two hours and 40 minutes.
Adria Airways is a member of Star Alliance and flies to 29 European destinations from its main hub of Ljubljana as well as from Pristina, Tirana and Lodz.
