With more than 22 million passengers a year, Stockholm Arlanda is Sweden’s largest airport and workplace. Is your group interested in a particular area or do you want to know about how a certain department works? Would you like a tour of the terminal and see how everything works, from check-in to take-off?
As long as the tour is compatible with airport operations and complies with safety and security regulations, and depending on how large your group is, we will be happy to help you to best satisfy the wishes of your group.
Guided tours – examples
On a tour of the terminal, we explore what happens from check-in until the plane takes off. You get a general and informative tour of the terminal system.
The bus tour is a comfortable tour of the airport, and you’ll see outdoor operations from really close up.
Stockholm Arlanda’s air traffic control tower, completed in 2001, has won awards for excellence in Swedish architecture. The tower is said to symbolise the ravens Hugin and Munin in Old Norse mythology, who watched over the world. Come take a tour and experience the view from the “balcony” – on a clear day you can see all the way to Uppsala Cathedral and the Globe arena in Stockholm. Please note that we do not visit the air traffic controllers’ workplace on this tour.
