Swedavia to introduce ban on e-cigarettes

2014-04-25, kl. 09:01

Swedavia considers electronic cigarettes to be equivalent to traditional cigarettes, and is introducing a ban on them at the airport. The ban applies to employees as well as passengers and other customers.

Swedavia now considers all types of e-cigarettes that contain nicotine and/or tobacco to be equivalent to cigarettes, and smoking e-cigarettes indoors is no longer permitted. This applies to employees, passengers and other customers on Swedavia’s premises at the company’s airports as well as outside when smoking is not permitted.
