Each year Chef, a Swedish newspaper for leaders and leadership, names Sweden’s best managers in a variety of categories. In the category “Diversity Manager of the Year”, two of the finalists nominated this year are in charge of the work for diversity and inclusion at Swedavia – Petra Bunsop, human resources specialist, and Tove Möller, specialist in diversity, gender equality and CSR.
Both say that a company with great diversity will always be a progressive company, while the opposite means stagnation.
“We have carried out solid work at Swedavia to get an overview on how we formulate things in recruitment ads, why pictures look the way they do in our publications, and everything from what our uniform policy looks like to how we treat one another as colleagues,” says Ms Bunsop.
“Our combination of HR knowledge and many years of experience with expanding diversity has given us great synergies when we carry out projects together. We have become somewhat of a ‘zipper duo’,”says Ms Möller.
The winner in the category “Diversity Manager of the Year” will be named on March 12 at the Chef gala 2014 at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm.
