During the first quarter of 2015, a new shopping thoroughfare will open at Stockholm Arlanda, where passengers will be able to find brands such as Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Superdry, Longchamps, Swarovski and Rituals. One store that will be new to Swedish passengers is Bath & Body Works, which is one of the largest US retailers in skin care and fragrances. The shop at Stockholm Arlanda will be their first venture in Europe.
“We want to offer our passengers the best start to their trip. So we continue to develop a unique marketplace with strong, exclusive brands that enables passengers to shop for brands that are not available in that many other places in Sweden. The new shopping thoroughfare at Stockholm Arlanda is a clear example of how we are constantly developing the airport’s offering of shopping, food and beverages in order to meet the demand from our passengers,” says Magnus Ros, Director of Commercial Services at Swedavia.
The new shopping thoroughfare will be located in Terminal 5, and after the refurbishment all the shops will be designed based on each brand’s individual identity and concept. Retailers such as Victoria’s Secret and Michael Kors have already set up shops here. The large tax-free shop is also located in Terminal 5, as are Designtorget, Capi Electronics and a number of fashion shops including well-known brands such as Eton, Stenströms, Filippa K, Hunky Dory, Malene Birger, Tiger of Sweden, Gant, Tommy Hilfiger, Moschino, DKNY and Campomaggio.
The refurbishment work will begin shortly, and the new shopping thoroughfare is expected to be completed in mid-March.
