2012-11-07, kl. 14:06

The number of passengers at Swedavia’s eleven airports was 2.9 million in October, which is equal to an increase of one per cent, or roughly 20,000 passengers, compared to the same period in 2011. The number of international passengers was up one per cent, while the number of domestic passengers was unchanged.

The increase in the number of international passengers consists solely of intra-European passengers, which rose two per cent to 1.6 million passengers. However, the number of intercontinental passengers fell ten per cent compared to the same period in 2011. The airports with the largest growth in percentage terms during October were Bromma Stockholm Airport (seven per cent), Kiruna Airport (six per cent) and Malmö Airport (five per cent).

The number of landings in scheduled and charter operations at Swedavia's airports in October was unchanged at 19,100.
