SAS expands its service to the US

2014-04-02, kl. 12:51

Today SAS announced that the airline is increasing its connections between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and New York/Chicago. During the winter season, service to the two destinations will be offered six times a week, compared to five times today.

The reason for the decision is ever growing demand for flights in both directions.

“This move enhances Swedish access and creates even better opportunities for passengers to travel non-stop to their destination. As a result, there is also enhanced potential for Swedish export companies and for our tourism industry,” says Torborg Chetkovich, chief executive of Swedavia, and Kjell-Åke Westin, airport director of Stockholm Arlanda Airport, in a joint comment.
