Letter of intent regarding Säve Airport

2015-08-24, kl. 08:59

Swedavia AB and Serneke Group AB have signed a letter of intent regarding Säve Airport. The letter of intent specifies that the two parties will be involved in a joint process aimed at reaching a transfer agreement. Previous announcements that helicopter operations and private aviation will continue until further notice and that business aviation will remain in operation there until at least June 30, 2016, are not affected.

Swedavia has conducted dialogues for a while with a number of parties concerning the transfer of Säve Airport. A letter of intent has now been signed between Swedavia and Serneke, which means that these dialogues have ended in favour of an exclusive process aimed at reaching a transfer agreement between the two parties.

Alongside the agreement process, the dialogue will continue between Swedavia and operations at Säve Airport. These dialogues will take place in order to create the best possible conditions in the ongoing restructuring work. Previous announcements that helicopter operations and private aviation will continue until further notice at Säve Airport and that business aviation will remain in operation there until June 30, 2016, are not affected by the letter of intent signed.
