Increased potential for Swedish access

2013-06-05, kl. 11:58

The number of passengers at Swedavia’s airports increased four per cent in May compared to the same period in 2012. Demand for international flights in particular is on the rise, with a five per cent increase in the number of international passengers. The number of domestic passengers was up two per cent during the same period.

“The growing demand for international travel enhances the potential of the Swedish air travel market. It is going in the right direction, with investments being made by both established airline customers and new ones, and we are working hard to further increase Sweden’s access,” says Torborg Chetkovich, chief executive of Swedavia.
