Fly non-stop to the US west coast from Stockholm Arlanda Airport

2013-09-03, kl. 17:00

Today Norwegian Air Shuttle presented further additions to its network of non-stop flights to and from Sweden. Beginning in spring 2014, passengers will be able to fly non-stop between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Los Angeles as well as San Francisco.

“Norwegian’s new non-stop routes are a welcome addition at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Eliminating a stopover shortens travel time and reduces fuel consumption. At the same time, closer contacts are established between the regions, which promotes economic, social and cultural exchanges. Nor should we forget that almost 500,000 people in California with Swedish ancestry will now have another reason to visit Sweden,” says Torborg Chetkovich, chief executive of Swedavia.

Norwegian’s new route is in addition to service that has already started or will start in 2013 between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and New York, Bangkok and Fort Lauderdale.
