Airport wedding ceremonies
Say your wedding vows at the airport – the former airport manager Karin Larsson-Tängdén is civil registrar. She will make your wedding both personal and unforgettable.
You You are welcome to use your own registrar or priest for the ceremony. In this case, provide details of the priest or registrar’s contact information. If you would like to keep your marriage or partnership secret, we can organise witnesses at Umeå Airport.
How does it work?
A representative from airport services meets you at an agreed time and place. You are then, with or without guests, escorted to the VIP lounge. We take care of your baggage, tickets, passports and check-in procedure. If you are travelling with children, we also take care of their check-in.
What does it cost?
Umeå Airport offers both simple and more exclusive packages. A tailor made package can of course also be organised to suit your specific needs.
Payment is made by cash or charge card (no invoices) at the customer service desk.
Airport Wedding basic
- VIP lounge for two hours. Beautifully prepared with candles and flowers.
- Assistance with baggage check-in for the bridal couple (also applies to accompanying children)
- VIP services, passing through security control
- Priest or registrar and/or witnesses. Inform us if you would like to book your own priest or registrar
- Between one and eight friends and family are welcome to witness the ceremony

Airport Wedding
- VIP lounge for two hours. Beautifully prepared with candles and flowers.
- Assistance with baggage check-in for the bridal couple (also applies to accompanying children)
- VIP services, passing through security control
- Priest or registrar and/or witnesses. Inform us if you would like to book your own priest or registrar
- Parking of one car for a maximum of two weeks
- Between one and eight friends and family are welcome to witness the ceremony
Price: SEK 2,995 including VAT
Airport Wedding de lux
- VIP lounge for two hours. Beautifully prepared with candles and flowers.
- The bridal couple are offered champagne and accompanying snacks
- Limousine to the airport (maximum 15 kilometres from the airport)
- Assistance with baggage check-in for the bridal couple (also applies to accompanying children)
- VIP services, passing through security control
- Priest or registrar and/or witnesses. Inform us if you would like to book your own priest or registrar
- Up to 20 friends and family are welcome to witness the wedding ceremony. A special wedding menu can be ordered - to be booked at least one week in advance
- Parking of one car for a maximum of two weeks
