Work has been underway in Terminal 2 to refurbish and improve the building and on April 23 the new terminal was inaugurated. For example a brand-new lounge on the upper level gives a luxurious feeling of home and is suitable for passengers who want to work or relax. There is also a new brasserie, Himmel och Hav, as well as Lavazza, an Italian café and restaurant concept on two levels. There is likewise a wide range of shopping options in the new Terminal 2.

The refurbishment of Terminal 2 means

  • 2,000 square metres of additional space on a brand-new level with a lounge and brasserie
  • Twice as much seating as before, and much of the seating is designed as places to meet and work, with a lounge feel
  • Short distance from check-in to the security checkpoint and on to your gate
  • An option of a priority lane through security for business travellers
  • Shorter route to baggage pick-up when you return from your journey
  • In 2015, a new baggage sorting facility will also be inaugurated
